Getting to Zanzibar from your safari

Most travellers reach Zanzibar on a scheduled light-aircraft flight at the end of their safari. Flights leave from airstrips in the Serengeti and from Arusha and Kilimanjaro airports, so there is no need to drive back to town first. We book the flight together with your safari and arrange the transfer from Zanzibar airport to your hotel.

Small planes have a tight baggage allowance, so pack a soft bag rather than a hard suitcase. We confirm the exact weight limit for your airline when we book.
